Boroondara Carey Eagles – Winning run in FFA Cup

Boroondara-Carey Eagles will use a successful FFA Cup run as a springboard into their step up to State League 3 South-East this season, according to coach Manny Koutroulis.

Koutroulis will return as head coach of the team that won the State League 4 North title last season and will also be head coach of the club’s junior program, which boasts some 800 registrations.

“We started pre-season on January 16 and we’ve been up and running since then,” he said.

The Eagles are having an outstanding FFA Cup run, reaching the fourth round after wins over Bunninyong Redbacks (8-1), Watsonia Heights (6-0) and Monbulk Rangers.
