BEFC Provincial 1st Divison team celebrated their first win in many weeks, beating Old Camberwell 3-2 in a home game played at Darebin last week. In a hard fought victory Eagles led 2-0 at half time.

The Reserve team unfortunately was unable to repeat the result, losing 1 - 2.

BEFC Under 18 Girls in second place with season end in sight

Following are some great action photos taken by Mark Lournensz of one of our most successful teams.

With only 3 weeks left to play, our Senior girls team is in second place, behind Whitehorse United and closely ahead of Diamond Valley and Richmond Junior Soccer Club.

The girls have won 9 games and have 2 draws and 2 losses along the way.

With a favourable run for the last 3 games and with Whitehorse up against both Richmond and Diamond Valley, plus having one Bye, there is a chance the team can get even closer to the top of this competition.

 Good luck to Mark and the team for the rest of the season.

BEFC Junior Coaches are asked to meet at the clubrooms on Tuesday 17 August at 7:30pm.

This is an oppotunity to look forward to 2011 and to share information between all coaches.
