Our Premier Daniel Andrews announced that from 11:59pm tonight until 11:59pm Wednesday 17 February 2021 circuit breaker actions will be in place to stop the spread of COVID-19 across Victoria.

“This is a short, sharp blast – the same as we’ve seen in Queensland and WA – that will give us the what we need to get ahead of this faster moving virus”.
This means that from this Saturday until Wednesday inclusive, the Boroondara Eagles FC will suspend all of its football activity. We will be ready to restart from Thursday pending further announcements by the Premier.
We feel the disappointment and frustration as much as we are sure you do, but we hope these 5 days of stage 4 lock down measures reward us with a return to zero community transmission and thus a return to football safely and soon.
When we receive further information, we shall issue an update.
