We received this news as an early New Year present:
The junior club has been selected as the Hyundai Goals For Grassroots recipient club for Round 13 of the 2019/2020 Hyundai A-League and is now guaranteed a $1,000 donation PLUS… an additional $1,000 for every goal that Melbourne City FC scores against Western United (up to a maximum of $10,000) in the Citizens home match this Friday night at AAMI Park.

By virtue of the three Melbourne City FC goals in Round 13 of the 2019/2020 Hyundai A-League, the junior club has secured a juicy $4,000 Hyundai Goals For Grassroots grant, courtesy of Hyundai Australia.
“We are proud of our inclusive culture at Boroondara Eagles, particularly with our female participation at over 20%. However, we are striving to do even more and believe if we can make female participation and registration fees far more affordable, will have a terrific proposition for all the budding Matilda’s out there to join and discover football via Boroondara Eagles FC” – Marina Scherbanuk
